Eagley Goldline Match falls victim to the weather

Tonight's Goldline match is off due to the heavy rain in the last few days.

It has been re arranged for tomorrow night, Thursday 30th July 7.30pm KO

Golborne friendly off

The friendly match at Golborne Sports has been cancelled due on the advice of their groundsman as the pitch has not recovered sufficiently after summer renovation work.

This will leave a single squad to face visitors Burscough FC, ahead of the Goldline match on Thursday against Daisy Hill, both games taking place at Brocstedes Park. 7.30pm KO

The rest of the players will be training at the Club at the slightly earlier time of 7pm. The remaining arrangements for the pre season build up are as follows:-

Ashton Athletic continue with preparations for the new season with the first matches due to commence this Wednesday, with a short trip to Merseyside to face Liverpool Combination side East Villa 7.30pm KO at Litherland Sports Park, Boundary road.

Meanwhile, running in parallel and sandwiched in between the games, training will continue at the Brocstedes Park Ground on
Tuesdays and Thurs, 7.15pm meet for a 7.30pm start unless otherwise specified below:-
