Ashton Girls through to the Lancs Cup Final

Ashton Athletic U14's Girls are through to the Lancashire Cup Final!
A fantastic achievement by the team and managers.

Ashton beat Bury Girls by 4 goals to 3 at Brocstedes Park on Sunday morning, kicking off at 10-30am in front of an excited crowd.

An excellent first half saw the team lead by 3 goals to 1 going into the break and Ashton scored again in the second to make it 4-1.

Bury did make it a nervy end to the game by scoring 2 late goals but to no avail.

It was a well deserved victory and the club are immensely proud of the whole squad.

Everyone is looking forward to the final and hope the team can bring the cup home.
