The August fixtures for the the Hallmark Security League Premier Division have been announced and Ashton Athletic will be playing 2 of the promoted teams in the first month of the season.

The Yellows start the league campaign away at Barnton on Monday 8th. They then host Maine Road on Saturday 13th before travelling to the Delta Taxi Stadium on Tuesday 16th. 2 home games follow on Saturday 23rd and Tuesday 27th when Winsford United and then Division One champions Hanley Town visit Brocstedes Park respectively.

The month ends with a trip to the YESSS Electrical Arena on Wednesday 31st when The Yellows face Padiham.

Ashton Athletic will be looking to start the season as they did in the first 2 games of the 2015/16 season when they won their first 2 games with 1-0 victories against AFC Darwen at Brocstedes Park and Runcorn Linnets at the Millbank Linnets Stadium respectively, but hoping for a better end to the month when they slipped to 2 draws against Maltby Main at home and Nelson away, and 3 defeats against Maltby Main in the FA Cup replay away, Padiham away and AFC Blackpool at Brocstedes Park.

The league have started the season for some teams on Monday 8th August due to the Football Association deciding to kick of the Emirates FA Cup on Saturday 6th August, when The Yellows travel to the Mechanics Ground to face AFC Blackpool.

There are no fixtures arranged for 20/8/16 due to the weekend being reserved for the Emirates FA Cup Preliminary Round.
