ASHTON LEAVE IT LATE TO TAME THE BEARS

Phil Williams left it until the 90th minute to send the yellows through into the next round of the league cup.
Sam Bailey had put Ashton ahead on 22 minutes only for Congleton to equalise with 15 minutes remaining before the game was won as Williams calmly slotted the ball past the on rushing bears keeper.

The quarter final tie at Runcorn will be played Saturday 15th March
