The first team got a very good away point at Silsden on Tuesday night. By all accounts the result should have been better but for bad refereeing decisions on the night against The Yellows.
That leaves Ashton in tenth place in the league with 8 points on the board with Silsden a place above on the same points but with a game in hand.
The Reserves are in action on Thursday night 3rd Sept, away at Nelson. they are in fine form winning their last 3 games with a great start to the season.
Saturday the 5th of September sees the 1st team in action again in the FA Vase, with a visit from Atherton Collieries. The kick off time is 3 pm. The teams are evenly matched so it should be a cracking cup tie.
Get yourselves down to Brocstedes Park for that game and of course the bar will be open and good food available.
You can even stay on after our game to watch England take on San Marino in their European qualifier, live on ITV in the club house, 5 pm kick off for that one.
