Three and easy for the Yellows

Goals from Carl Addison, Rob Flint and a debut goal for new signing Helio Andre gave Ashton Athletic a much deserved 3 points in this NWCFL premier division fixture. The scoreline somewhat flattered the visitors with the home side being sloppy in front of goal as well as having three other goals ruled out by the officials. The visitors should however have had a penalty late in the game that would have given the young Stone side something for there hardwork and non stop running through out the game in what could so easily have seen a heavy defeat if the lads had been a bit more clinical with there finishing.

Next up is a Lancashire FA Cup game on Tuesday night with a 7-45pm kick off against Atherton LR FC who's management team were in the crowd today with there game against Holker falling victim to the weather.
