The Ashton Athletic First Team Presentation Night was held in the clubhouse on Friday evening, bringing together players, staff, volunteers and supporters to celebrate another memorable season.

It proved to be a particularly successful night for midfielder Sam Oko, who completed a remarkable awards treble. Sam collected both the Players' Player of the Season and Manager's Player of the Season awards, before also being recognised with the North West Counties Division One North Player of the Month.

Sam has been outstanding throughout the season, and the recognition from both his teammates and those outside the club is a fitting reward for the commitment, quality and consistency he shows every time he pulls on an Ashton Athletic shirt.

Josh Nicholson once again claimed the club's Top Goalscorer Award. A true Ashton Athletic stalwart, Josh continues to lead by example, letting his performances do the talking on the pitch. His goals, dedication and professionalism remain invaluable to the team, and we hope to see him wearing the yellow shirt for many years to come.

The Chairman's Award was presented to Nic Cain in recognition of her tireless work behind the scenes. From managing the club's social media channels to keeping supporters updated with scores, fixtures and news, Nic dedicates countless hours to promoting Ashton Athletic. She is a valued member of the Ashton family, and we are incredibly grateful for everything she does for the club.

The evening also provided an opportunity to recognise the outstanding contribution of former club President Peter Richardson and his wife Annette. Pete devoted 35 years of service to Ashton Athletic and, together with Annette, continues to play an important role behind the scenes. Their dedication, support and commitment to the club over many years have been truly appreciated by everyone associated with Ashton Athletic.

Congratulations to all of our award winners and thank you to everyone who attended and helped make it such a great occasion.
