Happy New Year everyone, we wish you all the very best for the coming year. It’s good to finally be back home at Brocstedes Park after a 2 month stint of away matches.

The last time these two teams met in early November the game ended in a 1-1 draw away at Garstang. Since then the opposition have been in a poor run of form with 5 losses from 5 games and currently sit in 17th position in the league.
Ashton Athletic have had 2 tough games over the holiday period, facing league leaders Atherton LR (1-3) and playing out an exhilarating 4-4 draw away at Euston Villa. The Yellows were unlucky not to come away with all 3 points after leading the game 4-2.

The fixtures have been very unkind to us over the last 8 weeks with not a home game in sight so it would be great to get back to Brocstedes Park and winning ways against a struggling Garstang side. We hope to see as many of you there at the game as can make it, your support really matters to us. Come On You Yellows!
