Despite being the better team throughout the game Ashton Athletic 18's drew with a strong Morecambe team after beating them 3-1 only 2 weeks previously.

Against the run of play Morecambe took the lead with a penalty.

Matt Reid equalised with a break away goal and excellent finish.

Soon after the break the Young Yellows went on to lead 2-1 with a goal from Taylor Cain but unfortunately couldn't hold on as Morecambe's pressure told towards the end of the game.

All in all a good result away from home but frustrating not to take all 3 points.

Man of the Match was Harry Johnson playing superbly throughout.
